In transactional print and mail operations, organizations often need to update or make changes to document templates. These can be simple and minor or more complicated. These change requests set off a process for transactional print and mail providers to create a new letter. In this episode of Ask the Experts, Area VP, Solutions Partner Anthony Faldetta explains how it works for PCI Group customers.
“To create a new letter takes anywhere from 24 to 72 hours. If it’s a simple letter change, it’s 24 hours. If it’s a new letter with an existing file layout, it could take between 24 to 48 hours,” Anthony said. The longer timeframe of 72 hours may occur when new business rules are part of the change.
Customers working with us can make these requests through trakPCI. The web-based business document management platform offers this capability to ensure that these updates are submitted immediately and trackable. Once we’ve made the changes, customers can then view the new file for approval before production begins.
This feature supports convenience and transparency for organizations that trust us to deliver transactional print and mail. It’s one more reason why our customers can count on our reliability and responsiveness to changing needs.
