COLUMBIA, S.C. – Thursday, April 26th. The South Carolina Department of Commerce recognized PCI Group for its significant contributions to the community and state as part of its 27th annual, 2018 Industry Impact, Industry Appreciation series. During the ceremony, PCI was recognized as a medium company award winner, which is based on employment size and tier group.
“In 2008, we made a strategic decision to relocate our business to Indian Land, SC. It was a decision that proved to be vital to the success of our company. The Lancaster County Council and Lancaster County Department of Economic Development (LCDED) have been extremely supportive of us and we feel very fortunate to operate our company in such a thriving business community”, said PCI Group Executive Vice President, Skip Pawul. He added, “We have worked hard to build our business and are honored to have been nominated by LCDED and recognized by the State of South Carolina with this award.
Each year, S.C. Commerce joins local communities to thank businesses for their vital contributions to South Carolina’s economy with an Industry Appreciation event. Nominees for this year’s Industry Impact awards were judged based on a number of factors, including capital investment, job creation, community engagement and environmental stewardship.

Henry McMaster. “These local business leaders from all across our state are what make South Carolina such a wonderful place to live, work, and play.”

For PCI Group, this award continued its streak of earning industry and civic recognition. In 2017 and thus far in 2018, PCI has also been recognized by INC 5000 and one of fastest growing private companies in American and they also were recognized by the Charlotte Business Journal as one of the Fast 50 companies in the Charlotte metro area.
