Over 250 PCI Group employees gathered for the company’s annual holiday sponsored luncheons on Wednesday, December 8th at PCI’s Fort Mill, SC headquarters and on Thursday, December 9th its Dallas operating facility. The holiday and employee appreciation luncheons were hosted by Co-Owner/President, Chris Kropac and Co-Owner/Executive Vice President Skip Pawul. As a family-owned business since 1970, PCI Group continued its tradition of recognizing and celebrating employees with a holiday meal and gift drawing for employees.
In a world where too frequently we see employees treated as just another number, PCI takes a very different approach. Said Mr. Kropac, “We have been very fortunate to grow our business and we know our success is a direct result of building a great team. This luncheon and the gifts we give are just a small token of our appreciation for the sacrifices our team and their families make every day on behalf of the company.” For Mr. Kropac, these are more than just words. Every year, he personally shops for the gifts himself, choosing items he thinks PCI employees might not buy for themselves.
During the luncheons, the company has a random drawing until every employee has selected a gift. As their name is called, employees come forward to select an item of their choosing. During each of the luncheons, a grand prize winner gets to choose a special gift. This year those gifts included 43-inch flat screen TV’s and X-boxes. In all, over 300 gifts are given, ranging from video gaming systems to kitchen appliances, household goods, stereos and sporting goods.
Several employees who were attending the luncheon for the first time, commented that they had never experienced anything like this in their entire working career.
